Version:0.8.3.1

This extension for Firefox is much suited for web developers rather than people who surf. I like it because I can find the colour code of whatever colour I want.

The main feature of this extension is to find the Hex and RGB values of the colour over which the cursor is located. The interface also supports easy copying of those values to clipboard.

Left click on the extension icon to activate the extension and to look at the value of the colour over which the mouse pointer moves. While the moves pointer moves, the colour values keep changing in the status bar. After clicking the values dont change and the other copying options get activated.

On right clicking on the extension icon, you are given an option to.

  • Hide - Hides ColorZilla.
  • Clear status bar values - Clear the status bar of the ColorZilla generated text.
  • Resample Last location - Find the colour at the same spot where the cursor was last clicked with ColorZilla activated.
  • Zoom - Zooms the entire browsing area. (I hate this feature)
  • Eyedropper (default on left click) - Select colour.
  • Color Picker - Shows a screen where any colour can be selected and its Hex and RGB values found.
After installation this extension resides in the bottom left corner (in the status bar).
